About Pipe Relining

Corrosion is often caused by high water temperatures and low pH or high oxygen. As corrosion continues, your pipes will break down and develop leaks which can lead to property damage and health hazards such as mold. Pipe damage can also be caused by poor installation, poor drainage, erratic water flow and metal leaching. While pipe damage may have been resolved with excavation and breaking through walls, floors and through driveways; pipe relining is a trenchless technology that allows us to repair the pipes without doing extensive damage to your property. Epoxy Based Pipe Relining

Epoxy pipe relining is a good option for pipes that have pits, cracks and leaks. A great thing about epoxy pipe relining is that your pipe diameter will not be reduced by much, so you will not have flow problems. We will first clean the pipe that needs to be relined and heat it up to facilitate a good bond with the epoxy and ensure that the pipe surface is dry. We will then introduce the epoxy lining to the pipe and pump temperature controlled air into the pipes to ensure a uniform coating. Once the epoxy has dried we will pressure test the system and make sure that the lining was successful.

Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining

Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining is a lot like epoxy lining in the installation and preparation. With Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining we saturate a liner that is cut to the exact length of pipe that needs to be repaired. We will pull the liner in place and allow it to cure using an inflatable liner. We will then test the pipe and if needed we will use a robotic cutter to cut the liner in areas where pipes are connecting. We can also install the liner where we skip over connections to make the process less time consuming.

Slip Lining

Slip lining is a method where we pull a smaller diameter pipe into place and it sits within the existing pipe. This method will reduce your pipe diameter.

Pipe Bursting

Pipe bursting is a method of installing a new pipe in the place of your damaged pipe. A conical head that is attached to the new pipe and breaks apart and pushes aside the older pipe. The new pipe will be pulled into place where the void is from the old pipe. This method requires no cleaning and the existing pipes condition does not affect the quality of the pipe relining.
